On November 13, 2025, Peace Regional RCMP responded to reports that 25-year-old Karson Nahachick of Cadotte Lake, Alberta, was violating his release conditions.
Upon arrival in Simon Lake, Nahachick fled into the woods.
The next day, he was located and with two counts of failing to comply with release conditions, forcible confinement, obstructing police officer, and assaulting a police officer.
After appearing before a Justice of the Peace, Nahachick was remanded into custody, with a court date set for November 17, 2025, at the Alberta Court of Justice in Peace River.
The Peace Regional RCMP is seeking public assistance in identifying any suspicious activity in the area. Anyone with information is urged to contact the Peace Regional RCMP.
