Jail time has been given to a man from Manning after pleading guilty to theft charges.
Mason Gordon Lane was given 4 months, minus time served, for an incident in Grande Prairie.
The co-accused, Chelsea Lauren Goddard, also of Manning, was given a conditional discharge and six months’ probation.
A sentence will be handed down in March, after a man was found guilty of charges in a shooting death at Sturgeon Lake.
Vincent Campiou will learn his fate after being convicted of manslaughter and careless use of a firearm.
59 year old Patricia Campiou passed away in the incident, after police were called in March of 2023.
RCMP are reminding drivers and pedestrians to be careful because of icy conditions on roadways and sidewalks.
The recent warm weather had caused a lot of the snow to melt, but conditions are allowing the water to freeze.
