The Grimshaw Skating Club is set to host its annual carnival on March 1st from 1 to 3 PM, featuring this year’s theme, “Enchanted Forest.” Admission is by donation.
Meanwhile, local figure skaters Kaylee Cobick and Carly Elliott-Otto have qualified for Team Alberta North.
Cobick will compete at Level 1, while Elliott-Otto will participate at Level 3.
Both athletes are preparing to represent the region at the Arctic Winter Games in Whitehorse, Yukon, from March 8th to 15th.
