Alberta Justice says a woman charged in a 2025 drug and unstamped tobacco investigation in High Level will serve her sentence in the community.

Joanne Bulldog has been given a two-year Conditional Sentence Order after pleading guilty to possession for the purpose of trafficking. A second charge involving the sale of unstamped cigarettes was withdrawn.

The case began on February 24, 2025, when High Level RCMP received public complaints about alleged crack cocaine sales in the downtown area.

On May 1, 2025, officers from High Level RCMP, along with the ALERT team based in Grande Prairie, executed a search warrant at a local property.

Police seized 84 individual packages of cocaine, 940 unstamped cigarettes, more than $1,300 in cash, and documents believed to be related to drug trafficking.

A Conditional Sentence Order allows the sentence to be served in the community under strict conditions, rather than in custody.
