Thanks to the Daily Mail (source), I learned the average cell phone user is gazing at their device at least 150 times a day. Let’s assume at least 5 of 7 days in a week, we’re supposed to be working; that’s a lot of wasted time. Thanks to technology, we can now take advantage of an app called ‘Moment’. It tracks exactly how much we use our cell phones, and even WHERE we use it. Heck, it will even tell us when it’s time to put it away. What’s the point? Well, it seems some people have decided to make ‘goals’ with their habit. Let’s say, you shoot for one hour of use each day? ‘Moment’ will ‘buzz’ you. Honestly, is this what we have become? A bunch of techno-files without any self discipline? Wait, that’s a great question, I have to run. I’m going to look for a psychology app that will keep me busy trying to figure out……me!
