Alberta Health Services is reporting an outbreak of COVID-19 at Springfield Elementary School.
According the the public health agency, the school, which is located in the north end of Peace River has two-to-four positive cases.
According to the AHS website, the school will remain open.
According to a letter sent to some parents, the risk to the rest of the school population is considered low.
An outbreak is declared when two-or-more positive cases of the novel coronavirus are confirmed in a school.
