We recently got a trailer for the upcoming How to Train Your Dragon movie. This is a live-action adaptation of the animated film based on a book.
For what it’s trying to do it looks good. The dragons look like how they did in the animated film, and the characters, costumes and scenes also seem pretty faithful. That then leads me to my next question. Why? If everything looks like the animated film why did we need a live-action version. If it’s just going to be the same why even make it. I mean money is the answer since they have finished off the franchise they’re still hoping to squeeze more money out of it but it just seems weird.
I have seen some people saying that this is a movie for kids and you can’t be too angry about it but that is just blatantly untrue. We got a movie for kids 14 years ago…it still exists. This is for fans of the franchise who want to relive it…but I think that’s stupid.
I’ll probably see it when it comes out just to see if they did try anything new but if you want to check it out for yourself you can find the trailer below!.
