High winds have caused the wildfire to gain some traction. Currently the east end of the fire is approximately 1km west of Range Road 64 and 3.5 km South of Highway 64.
Large bombers are being brought in with fire retardant to assist.
At this time we are asking people to avoid traveling on Highway 64 from Range Road 62 to 74.
