Last week, we asked if you would be for, or against, a supervised consumption site in your community.

262 people took the time to vote and 136 (52%) were in favour and 126 (48%) were against the idea.

A study at the University of Calgary indicated these types of sties have saved the provincial healthcare system around $2.3 million.

It calls for the Minister of Justice and Solicitor General to explore to possibility of a volunteer civilian corps to assist law enforcement.

According to Loewen, the theory is that volunteers can assist with non-criminal matters, like traffic control, and this would free up officers to attend to more urgent calls.

Do you agree with this idea or are you against it.
