
On April 2nd, Chief Medical Officer of Health Doctor Deena Hinshaw confirmed 96 new cases of COVID-19, bringing the total number of cases in the province to 968.
There are currently 55 cases of COVID-19 in the north zone.
13 Albertans have now died from COVID-19, including a male in his 80’s in the Northern Zone,which brings the total number of deaths in our zone to three.
Hinshaw has also reported that 142 people have recovered from the virus.
To help slow spread or ease fear of catching COVID-19, the government recommends washing one’s hands for at least 20 seconds, and to avoid touching the face.
