On May 27, Alberta Health Services confirmed 25 new cases of COVID-19, bringing the total number of cases in the province to 6,926.
It was also reported that two people passed away in the last 24 hours.141 Albertans have now died from COVID-19.
In the North Zone, there are 237 cases of COVID-19 and 16 people have passed away.
There are currently 21 active cases in our zone.
AHS is reporting that 6,106 people have recovered from the virus.
This means that there are currently 679 active cases across Alberta.
To help slow spread or ease fear of catching COVID-19, the government recommends washing one’s hands for at least 20 seconds, and to avoid touching the face.
