On November 18, Alberta Health Services confirmed 730 new cases of COVID-19 over the last 24 hours, bringing the total number of cases in the province to 41,692.
11 people passed away, which means 443 Albertans have now died from COVID-19.
In the North Zone, there are 2,928 cases of COVID-19 and 42 people have passed away including one person in today’s update.
There are currently 628 active cases in our zone with 40 in the MD of Peace, 31 in the MD of Greenview, 14 in the MD of Fairview, while all other jurisdictions in our area have four active cases or less.
AHS is reporting that 31,192people have recovered from the virus.
This means that there are currently 10,057 active cases across Alberta.
To help slow spread or ease fear of catching COVID-19, the government recommends washing your hands for at least 20 seconds, and to avoid touching the face.
