COVID-19 UPDATE: November 3

On November 3, Alberta Health Services confirmed 2,268 new cases of COVID-19 over the last four days, bringing the total number of cases in the province to 29,932.

15 people passed away, which means 338 Albertans have now died from COVID-19.

In the North Zone, there are 2,166 cases of COVID-19 and 35 people have passed away.

There are currently 413 active cases in our zone with 10 cases in the MD of Peace, nine in the MD of Fairview, seven in the MD Mackenzie, six cases in the MD of Greenview, while all other counties and MD’s in the region are at four active cases or less.

AHS is reporting that 23,484 people have recovered from the virus.

This means that there are currently 6,110 active cases across Alberta.

To help slow spread or ease fear of catching COVID-19, the government recommends washing your hands for at least 20 seconds, and to avoid touching the face.
