On the Trending 55 Hot Seat, we caught up with Doctor David Jacobs, a emergency room radiologist at Humber Hospital in Toronto, Ontario.
Dr. Jacobs has been on the front lines since the COVID-19 pandemic began.
He gives us his impressions of the third wave, and the fact more younger people are getting infected with severe symptoms.
We also talk about vaccination and the importance of getting your shot when you are eligible and points to other countries that are opening up because of mass vaccination.
Jacobs also says the federal government has done a poor job of securing vaccine doses, which he tells us is the way out of this.
