Celebrate Indigenous culture, resilience, and community this weekend at the 22nd Annual Peace River Traditional Pow Wow!
Dates: May 30 and 31 Location: Baytex Energy Centre in Peace River
Saturday, May 30 Events…
~Grand Entries at 1 PM and 7 PM featuring host drum Young Wild & Cree.
~Enjoy authentic Indigenous artisans, food vendors, kids’ crafts, and the Métis Jigging Contest with Métis Bev Lambert.
~Everyone is welcome to take part in the intertribal dances whether you are wearing regalia or not. Intertribals are a time for community, celebration, and coming together through dance.
Sunday, May 31 Events:
~Grand Entry begins at 1 PM, followed immediately by a special Eagle Feather Ceremony honouring Indigenous graduates.
~Please note the graduation ceremony will take place during Grand Entry this year.
Admission is free, and everyone is welcome. Come celebrate culture, community, and tradition this weekend at the Peace River Traditional Pow Wow.
