Fairview RCMP make arrests following break and enter

Clear Hills County, Alta. – On Nov. 29, 2024, at approximately 1:52 a.m., Fairview RCMP responded to reports from community members regarding a break and enter at a commercial site, located on Range Road 72. Upon arrival, two male suspects fled the scene. With the assistance of Police Dog Services, officers located and apprehended the suspects.

Dennis Grant Ford, a 52-year-old resident of Bezanson, Alta., has been charged with the following offences:

  • Break and enter
  • Possession of property obtained by crime for the purpose of trafficking over $5000

Dennis was taken before a Justice of the Peace and was remanded into custody. He is scheduled to appear in court on Dec. 23, 2024, at the Alberta Court of Justice in Fairview.

Christopher Ryan Comer, a 46-year-old resident of Dawson Creek, B.C., has been charged with the following offences:

  • Break and enter
  • Possession of property obtained by crime for the purpose of trafficking over $5000

Christopher was taken been a Justice of the Peace and was released on a Release Order with conditions. He is scheduled to appear in court on Jan. 22, 2025, at the Alberta Court of Justice in Fairview.
