A 42-year-old woman from Fort Vermilion will be in court on October 20.
According to the Fort Vermilion RCMP, Angela Mitchell was arrested without incident on September 30 following an investigation.
Mitchel is facing charges of:
- Trafficking in a controlled substance: Methamphetamine – Sect. 5(1) of The Controlled Drugs and Substances Act
- Possession of a controlled substance, for the purpose of trafficking – Sect. 5(2) of The Controlled Drugs and Substances Act
- Possession of property obtained by crime – Sect. 355(a) of the Canadian Criminal Code
The Mackenzie County Enhanced Unit and ALERT Grande Prairie were also part of the investigation.
