September 11th Fox will be debuting a new drama show called Monarch which stars Academy Award winner Susan Sarandon and Country music legend Trace Adkins called Monarch. The show’s about a family headed by Dottie Roman and Albie Roman who have created a country music dynasty together. However, the origins of the dynasty are not what they seem to be. Roman’s daughter Nicky Roman steps in and does all she can to protect the dynasty’s reign in country music while ensuring her own stardom. The premise makes me think Nashville meets Dynasty but the trailer does have me excited especially as a Trace Adkins fan (music and acting) and of Susan Sarandon. The show will also have guest stars like Shania Twain, Little Big Town, Martina McBride, Tanya Tucker.
