Grande Prairie RCMP Request Information Regarding a Concerning Assault

Grande Prairie, Alberta: Grande Prairie RCMP are currently investigating a report of a concerning assault and are asking for the public’s assistance to identify the male as well as to alert parents and youth about the concerning reported behaviour.

At 3:33 pm on June 14, 2022. Grande Prairie RCMP received a complaint of a possible abduction attempt at Muskoseepi Park near the Heritage Center.  A 16-year-old female was walking alone near this location when a male grabbed her by the arm. She was able to twist around to get free and ran away resulting in scratches to her arm.

The male suspect is described as:

·        Late 30’s – 40 years old

·        Taller than 5’7

·        Pale skin

·        Really skinny

·        Lips were very cracked and small

·        Hands appeared very “veiny”

·        Wearing baggy blue pants and a black hoodie

·        Was limping very lightly
