Justice Minister and Solicitor General talks about Bill 16, responds to NDP claim that ministers were unavailable to answer questions

Justice Minister and Solicitor General, Doug Schweitzer spoke with the Trending 55 Newsroom about Bill 16, introduced in the legislature this week.

Schweitzer explains this legislation comes from months of consultations with rural residents about tackling crime.

The minister also fires back at the NDP, who claims the governing UCP party did not make 18 ministers available for a legislature debate on COVID-19.
