The results are in!

Last week, we asked if you felt that US President, Joe Biden made the right, or wrong decision in cancelling the Keystone XL pipeline in his first few hours in office.

Based on our most recently poll, an absolute majority of around 51.4 percent felt Biden made the wrong decision.

Approximately 24.7 percent of you feel cancelling the permit for the border crossing was the right move, and about 23.9 percent of voters were hopeful the President would at least have a conversation.

This week’s question comes from a suggestion from our audience.

As we reported, Town of Peace River council sent a letter to Premier Jason Kenney suggesting a new wood processing facility at Mercer Peace River.

In Mayor Tom Tarpey’s letter, he says the project’s full cost is $69.9 million and says it would create 50 construction jobs immediately, as well as help reduce greenhouse gases.

He suggests the government could support this project as part of its efforts to come out of the COVID-19 recession.

We want to know, do you think the federal government should financially support an investment into a new wood processing facility at Mercer Peace River?
