Massive majority says vacationing public officials should be held accountable

The results are in and they are not close!

In our first Trending 55 Newsroom Poll of the Week, we asked if elected officials who chose to take international vacations should be held accountable.

Over 93 percent of voters are calling for discipline for those that decided to jet off to warmer climates, despite provincial and federal guidelines suggesting we avoid non-essential travel.

Around 5.3 percent feel no rules were broken so no discipline is necessary, and around 1.6 percent of voters don’t care either way.

This week, we are asking about the events that have unfolded this week at the U.S. Capitol Building being stormed by rioters protesting the election results south of the border.
