The Miserable Miles race starts at 10 AM on September 15th and already has up to 166 registrations with a sizable amount of them being youth. This year the team at Misery Mountain opened registration up to youth as young as 13 and 14 years old. This year they have almost a full heat of youth.

If you haven’t had the opportunity to sign up there is still time tomorrow morning for people to sign up between 9 and 10 and registration costs about 60 dollars.

When asked why someone should get involved in Miserable Miles, event spokesperson, Konrad Junikiewicz says “Miserable Miles is not only challenging, especially this year with the way the weather is looking but it’s a great way to see a side of Peace River you don’t usually see. The route takes you through some very scenic parts of Misery Mountain. If you’re into mud races this one is pretty good at putting you through the grind.”

People who aren’t taking part in the race can come and watch their loved ones race, enjoy the slip and slide, as well as some food and refreshments.

The first heat takes off at 10, with the second race starting at 12:40.
