The government says seven evacuation orders remain in place as of this morning, this includes Chateh, Fox Lake and Rainbow Lake.

Evacuation orders have been lifted in the Sturgeon Lake area and for East Prairie Metis Settlement and Peavine Metis Settlement.

Right now the Peace and Mackenzie regions are dealing with 27 active fires, 10 of them are classified as out of control.
