Peace River-Westlock MP, Arnold Viersen was one of a limited number of MP’s in the House of Commons yesterday.
Viersen first had an opportunity to ask five questions of the Special Committee on the COVID-19 Pandemic.
The MP’s questions were about:
- Flooding support for residents of Fort Vermilion and Fort McMurray.
- Canadian Emergency Response Benefit (CERB) support for farmers and small businesses
- Support available for start-up businesses.
- CERB benefits for oil and gas workers.
- Child protection online.
The video from the House of Commons of Viersen’s questions, and the answers, is below.
The conservative MP was also part of the debate of Bill C-15, which is a $9 billion emergency support package for students.
