The Peace Agronomy Update is taking place today at the Dunvegan Motor Inn in Fairview. The event, which is being hosted by the North Peace Applied Research Association (NPARA) and the Peace Country Beef and Forage Association (PCBFA), begins at 9 AM. Discussions includes crop nutrition, where Tom Jensen from the International Plant Nutrition Institute discusses how to deal with pest problems. As well, there’ll be a wheat midge update with Alberta Agriculture’s Scott Meers, as well as a market update from ProMarket Communications spokesperson Errol Anderson. Also on the docket today includes soybean production.
