Peace River Town Council, giving $13,488 to Peace Regional Victim Services. Councillor Tanin Behnke says they have given money to the group for the past few years, adding it’s an ongoing commitment the town will continue to make. She says council provides a 2 dollar-per-capita budget in terms of what the group provides to the community. Behnke says Victim Services is a valuable service to the community that the council is more than happy to support.
