A local citizen is being recognized by the province for their work with seniors.
Cory Young of Peace River is one of nine individuals, businesses, and non-profit organizations receiving the 2021 Minister’s Senior Service Award.
Young is a home support worker who created a home delivery service for seniors to safely access healthy meals.
This is in addition to doing chores like mowing lawns, washing windows, and providing rides to medical appointments for seniors.
