The Royals made a strong comeback the next day when they played the Sturgeon Stings, winning 6-3. Honorable mentions for Sunday’s game go to Dominic Bernetic who made 44 saves. Carson Schumann scored twice and other goals came from Corey Isaac, Koby Konowalyk, Tanner Lins and Blake Anderson.

The Royals will have their homeopener at the Baytex  Energy Centre on Friday October 5th. The puck drops for the Royals and the NEBC Trackers at 6:45 pm. The Royals will be back at it again  on Saturday October 6th when they face the GPAC Storm.
