When the Red Earth Creek RCMP responded to a collision, it allegedly found more than a damaged vehicle.

The single vehicle collision happened on Highway 88 south of Red Earth Creek on August 29.

Following an investigation, officers ended up seizing: $45,000 in Canadian currency, several cell phones and suspected oxycodone pills.

The report alleges that the drives’ blood-alcohol level was above the legal limit.

  • Possession of property obtained by crime for the purpose of trafficking over $5,000
  • Operation of a conveyance with a blood alcohol level over 80 mg%
  • Impaired operation of a conveyance

The suspect will be in provincial court in Red Earth Creek on Tuesday to respond to the changes, which have not been proven in court.

Abdulle and the lone passenger in the vehicle were transported to hospital following the crash but the detachment did not provide any information on the severity of any injuries.
