Saddle Hill County is looking to upgrade their structure plans for some surrounding communities. It is starting with Woking, where there will be a meeting happening January 28th from 6:30 until 8:30 PM. It will then move to Bay Tree and lastly, the Community Office in Saddle Hills. Planning Services Coordinator Shirley Moerman says that they put out a request for proposal for a consultant to do up all three plans in consecutive. She says they want to hear the public’s opinion on what they want to see, such as where they want industrial development, or where they want a commercial district. Moerman adds that is a website residents can go to in order to see the process during the time of trying to update the plan. That website is http://saddlehillsasps.ca/.
