May the 4th be with you! Star Wars day was yesterday! We had some cool announcements like a new trailer for the new Obi-Wan Kenobi TV series that will be streaming on Disney +. Honestly, it looks pretty cool. A lot of people give the prequel movies a lot of hate but I thought they were pretty cool. so, I cant wait to see what happens to Obi-Wan. This series looks like it is going to be filling in the holes of that time between episodes 3 and 4 and show what Obi-wan was up to while he was watching luke and keeping an eye on Darth Vader. Darth Vader was teased here so maybe they might have a duel…maybe…possibly. But you don’t just have to read what I think give it a watch right here and gather your own thoughts.
It being star wars day I also had to ask the question what would you be doing if you were in the star wars universe? Would you be a Jedi, fighting for peace with their classic blue and green lightsabers? would you give in to the dark side and follow the path of the sith, using their cool dark side powers like force lightning. Would you be a mercenary working for coin living your life and exploring this cool world? Or would you just want to be a civilian in the Star Wars world? Maybe you would have a farm but overall just vibing in this super cool universe.
For me, I mean you gotta go Jedi right! you get to be the good guy, use the force and a lightsaber, and be a peacekeeper of the galaxy. If I get sick of that whole Jedi life I think that my second choice would be mercenary going on cool adventures across the galaxy does sound like a really fun time as well.
On KIX FM most people want to just be civilians with it leading the poll at 57%. First off this seems a bit crazy to me but I do also understand where your coming from. I think that it would be pretty cool to just exist in this world and not have to worry about some giant world-ending conflict. Or be constantly on the move never knowing if you could make it to the next day. Living just a normal life in a star wars world would be pretty cool. Following civilian was all the rest of the options Jedi, Sith, and Mercenary at 14%
In River Country, this civilian trend continued with it again leading the pack at 67%. Then mercenary was the runner-up this time at 33%. Like I said mercenary was my second choice soo I’m happy that it’s getting some love here.
Overall, it seems that you guys just want to live in this Star Wars world without having to deal with that whole life or death drama. It would be super interesting if we got a movie, or heck even a TV series because they like doing those, just focused on some guy trying to get by in life in the Star Wars universe… I’d watch it.
