Peace Regional RCMP say the death of a woman near Cadotte Lake earlier this month is being labeled as “suspicious.”
An alleged pedestrian hit and run collision on Highway 986 happened west of the community on the Woodland Cree Nation on June 7.
Peace Regional RCMP attended the scene along with emergency medical services and located a 29-year-old female from Peace River deceased on scene.
An autopsy for the woman will take place in Edmonton this week.
