Lightning in the area is starting to cause issues for Wildfire fighters, as they try to gain the upper-hand on several blazes.
A small fire northeast of Grouard was caused by lightning, which started earlier this morning.
Also, a blaze, southeast of the High Prairie Landfill was started this morning by lightning.
Updates are forthcoming.
In the Meantime, the Red Earth East Complex fires are still burning in that area, which was started by lightning, back at the end of May.
