Good news for Slave Lake—thanks to the tireless work of Alberta Forestry crews and a little help from Mother Nature, the wildfire is no longer expected to grow.
As a result, the 8-hour evacuation notice for Slave Lake and surrounding areas will be officially lifted.
Officials thank the crews who’ve worked around the clock to protect the community and remind residents to stay alert and informed.
