The Provincial Government is providing funding for infrastructure projects in the Northwest.
A half-dozen municipalities in the Peace Region alone is being earmarked, totaling just over $4 million dollars.
Municipal District of Smoky River:
- $312,000 for Culvert Replacement
- $351,000 for Culvert Replacement
Northern Sunrise County:
- $375,000 for Culvert Replacement
- $763,400 for Road Improvement and Slide Remediation
Mackenzie County:
- $855,000 for Bridge Replacement
- $190,000 for Raw Water Reservoir Upgrade Project
Village of Girouxville:
- $203,250 for Wastewater Treatment Facility Upgrades and Improvements
Town of McLennan:
- $56,250 for Water Treatment Plant Infrastructure Assessment Study
Paddle Prairie Metis Settlement:
- $1,359,375 for Phase 2 of Water Treatment Plant Upgrades
