The Peace River Nuclear Power Project is gathering more public input on the future of the subject.
Energy Alberta is hosting Community Engagement sessions to have the public provide more feedback and ask more questions.
The meetings occur in the fourth week of September, beginning in Peace River and working around the region.
Dates and Locations:
- September 22 – Peace River at the Chateau Nova
- September 23 – Weberville at the Weberville Community Hall
- September 24 – Grimshaw at the Mile Zero Regional Multiplex
- September 25 – Manning at the Manning Elks Hall
Each Session will follow this agenda:
- 4:30pm – 5:00 p.m.: Registration
- 5:00pm – 7:30 p.m.: Presentations and discussions
- 7:30pm – 8:00 p.m.: Follow-up questions and one-on-one conversations
