In a recent organizational meeting, the Holy Family Catholic Regional Division (HFCRD) Board of Trustees took their Oath of Office.
Kelly Whalen, representing Ward 6 – Peace River/Nampa, was unanimously elected as Chair, with John Kuran, also from Ward 6, selected as Vice Chair.
The Board comprises Leanne Cox (Ward 1 – High Prairie), Victoria Patrick Barkhouse (Ward 2 – McLennan), John Michael Pozniak (Ward 3 – Valleyview), Michael Connell (Ward 4 – Manning/Fort Vermilion), and Jessica Richard (Ward 7 – Fairview).
As of September 30, 2025, student enrollment has increased at St. Andrew’s School in High Prairie, Glenmary School in Peace River, and Holy Family School in Grimshaw.
The Board plans to initiate discussions with neighboring school divisions to explore collaborative opportunities in areas such as resource sharing and future school construction.
