On October 21, 2025, Peace Regional RCMP responded to a report of a wanted male in the Cadotte Lake area.
Assistance from Police Dog Services, officers arrested 35-year-old Peace River resident Frank Ross Whitehead hiding under a mattress in a residence.
Whitehead was on outstanding warrants from High Prairie, Alberta, including carrying a concealed weapon, possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose and three counts of possession of a weapon contrary to order.
He was remanded in custody and is scheduled to appear in the Alberta Court of Justice in Peace River on October 27, 2025.
The Peace Regional RCMP is seeking the public’s assistance in identifying the location of, or sightings of any suspicious persons or activity in the area.
