
Peace Regional RCMP have been busy recently arresting several people wanted on warrants.
Over the past week, some proactive patrols and reports of suspicious individuals have lead to officers making several arrests.
On November 1 in Grimshaw, police arrested Jeffery Dave Wendal Lariviere (34) of Grande Prairie.
Lariviere was arrested for his outstanding 15 warrants: assault x 2, mischief, failure to attend court x 4, theft over $5000 x 2, Theft/Forgery/Misuse of credit card x 2, possession of property obtained by crime x 4, all out of the Peace River, Alta area.
Lariviere was brought before a Justice of the Peace, where he was remanded with a court date of Nov. 3 at the Alberta Court of Justice in Peace River.
On November 2, police were responding to an unrelated incident in the area of 97 Ave in Peace River when they observed a female on warrant, identified as Bobbi-Jo Dupuis (47), a resident of Peace River, trying to leave the area.
She had been wanted for break and enter to a residence in Peace River.
Dupuis was brought before a Justice of the Peace, where she was released with a court date of Nov. 10 at the Alberta Court of Justice in Peace River.
On November 4, officers responded to a report where they located a male, identified as Cody Lyndon Anderson (37), a resident of Peavine, with outstanding warrants.
Anderson was arrested for his 10 warrants which included: mischief x2, assault/assault with weapon x 3, uttering threats, theft under $5000, failure to attend court x2 and failure to comply with a release order. In addition to this, Anderson was charged for failure to comply with a release order x 3.
Anderson was brought before a Justice of the Peace, where he was remanded with a court date of Nov. 6, at the Alberta Court of Justice in Fahler.
Also on November 4, police responded to a report of a suspicious male at a property in the area of 50 Ave in Grimshaw.
RCMP arrived and identified David Andrew Carlson (35), a resident of Edmonton, who was arrested for his outstanding warrant of Break and Enter to a residence in Barrhead.
Carlson was brought before a Justice of the Peace, where he was released with a court date of Nov. 19, at the Alberta Court of Justice in Barrhead.
