- The Town of Fairview is continuing their advocacy to try and save the Fairview campus of Northwestern Polytechnic.
Mayor Gord MacLeod says that a letter from the province’s Advanced Education Minister, Myles McDougall, has assured that all current programs will continue until at least August 1. - From the RCMP’s Weekly Wanted File, police are looking for Sheldon Lee Sinclair.
His last known whereabouts was in Grande Prairie, and is noted for activities in Peace River, Peavine, Northern Sunrise County, High Prairie, Red Earth Creek, and Grande Prairie. - Blue Ridge Mountain Resort, near La Crete, is holding their Annual General Meeting tonight.

- The NHL has a rare night off tonight, but the NFL Thursday-nighters, because of the American Thanksgiving holiday, are Green Bay at Detroit, Kansas City at Dallas, and Cincinnati at Baltimore.
- The snow in the Peace and Big Lakes will continue until at least this evening, with a couple of centimeters hitting the ground.
