Emergency crews remain on scene following a fire at a local business in Grimshaw.
Reports circulating on social media indicate the blaze broke out overnight, December 21, at Dot-Lyn Sales and Service Autobody Shop. As of Monday morning, December 22, fire crews were still working at the scene.
Some nearby residents commented online that they were asked to evacuate their homes as a precautionary measure due to the fire. Traffic in the surrounding area has also been restricted while emergency responders continue their work.
At this time, officials have not released details regarding the cause of the fire, or full extent of the damage – although based on photos circulating, the building is all but destroyed.
