
A Peace River woman has been sentenced to jail time following a drug-related incident in Grande Prairie.
On February 9, 2026, Rosanna Vivian Carifele pleaded guilty to possession for the purpose of trafficking and flight from a peace officer.
She received a 17-month jail term for the trafficking charge and a concurrent three-month sentence for fleeing from police.
The charges stem from a February 20, 2025, incident where Carifele fled a traffic stop; upon her arrest, RCMP discovered methamphetamine and fentanyl in her vehicle.
