Five people arrested following a January shooting incident in High Level have now received sentences or court orders, according to Alberta Justice.

Mateo Ahnassey was sentenced to 180 days in custody after pleading guilty to possession of a firearm in a vehicle.

Troy Damian Francis received a 45-day sentence on the same charge. Jesse Lee Roger Chalifoux also pleaded guilty to possession of a firearm in a vehicle.

Savanna Chambaud-Chalifoux was placed under a peace bond intended to protect others.

Jamie Marie Hollands pleaded guilty to possession of a controlled substance and was sentenced to 12 months of probation.

The charges stem from an incident on Jan. 12, 2025, when High Level RCMP responded to reports that a shot had been fired toward a home and that someone may have been attempting to break in.

Police arrested five people during the investigation and seized two firearms, 2,800 unstamped cigarettes and about 50 grams of suspected cocaine.
