Two suspects facing several charges after drugs and weapons seized

When Red Earth Creek RCMP did a curfew check at the Loon River First Nation, officers discovered a lot more.

The check was being done on someone who had been previously charged with drug trafficking and possession of illegal firearms.

During the check, officers noticed several firearms in the residence, which led to the arrest of everyone in the home.

Police seized a number of items including: several loaded prohibited firearms including sawed off shotguns and rifles, over a hundred rounds of ammunition, several cell phones and suspected methamphetamine and drug trafficking paraphernalia.

Caitlin Noskey, 25, of Loon Lake is charged with:

  • Possession for the purpose of trafficking, Methamphetamine
  • Five Counts of possession of a firearm and/or ammunition while prohibited
  • Five counts of possession ofa weapon for a purpose dangerous
  • Four counts of careless use of a firearm
  • Uttering threats
  • Resisting arrest
  • Four counts of possession of a prohibited firearm without holding a license
  • 10 counts of Breach conditions of release.

Jeremy Noskey, 27, of Peerless Lake is charged with:

  • Possession for the purpose of trafficking, Methamphetamine
  • Five counts of possession of a firearm and/or ammunition while prohibited
  • Four counts of careless use of a firearm
  • Four counts of possession of a prohibited firearm without holding a license
  • Five counts of possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose
  • Four counts of breach conditions of release

Following judicial hearings, both suspects were remanded into custody and are set to be in Red Earth Creek Provincial Court on July 21.
