The High Prairie RCMP is looking into an incident where a house was burned to the ground on the Gift Lake Metis Settlement.
In the early hours of Wednesday morning, the Gift Lake Fire Department responded to a call of a home on fire.
When firefighters got to the scene, the home was fully engulfed in flames, which left the house burnt to its foundation.
The Fire Commissioner’s Office joined the investigation and determined the fire was suspicious.
