The forestry and lumber sectors in Manning are being recognized provincially.
The Alberta Forest Products Association has awarded Reinders Logging in Notikewin, the 2021 Health and Safety Award.
The Association also awarded Forteck, an Environmental Consulting firm in Manning, the 2021 Small Employer Contractor Award.
As well, Steve Marinus of West Fraser’s Manning Forest Products, has won the 2021 Lumber Grading Award.
The Alberta Forest Products Association is a non-profit organization that develops public awareness of the industry, and that provides an understanding of the economic, environmental, and social values of Alberta’s forests.
