Mackenzie County is not wanting to do business with companies who have vaccine mandates in place.

In a statement, the County is not changing the relationship to companies who do not have a mandatory vaccine policy in place.

However for future work, companies who do have policies in place, will not be eligible to complete their work, or bid for future work with the County.

Existing contracts with companies with policies in place, will be honoured for the time-being, but workers can not enter job sites.

The work is to be done remotely.

The County says this is because of violations to personal rights and freedoms, which the County does not tolerate.

The County says that companies, who share these values, are welcomed to work with Mackenzie County.
