Peace Regional RCMP seek public assistance in locating missing youth – Update

Peace River, Alta. – Peace Regional RCMP are still seeking the public’s assistance in locating missing 13-year-old Rocky Conrad Cardinal.

On June 2, 2023, at approximately 2:45 p.m., a community member reported seeing Rocky; they were able to take a photo of Rocky and contacted RCMP who with the assistance of Rocky’s family, made extensive, though unsuccessful searches in the area.

Despite several potential sightings of Rocky since he was reported missing, extensive patrols by RCMP, Search and Rescue, his family and the community, Rocky still remains unfound.

RCMP are releasing an updated description and photo from the community member.

Rocky was last seen wearing:

  • Dark or black sweater and pants
  • Shoes with white soles and checkered print on top

Rocky could potentially still be in the Peace River area, however has expressed interest in the past to go to High Level, Alta.

Community members are asked to complete a detailed search inside their businesses, homes, sheds and outbuildings for any signs of Rocky.
