Coming off an amazing last season for sister Kayla and Ashton, which including representing Alberta at the Scotties, they are set to play in a Grand Slam of Curling event beginning today in Niagara Falls, ON. The sisters from Nampa have won their first event of the season and look to build on early success in the Slam event they competed in the event last year when it was held in Grande Prairie, playing in Tier 2 and this year remain in Tier 2.
Outside of Kayla (Skip) and Ashton (Lead) they have the same team from last season with Brittany Tran playing third and Geri-Lynn Ramsay at second.
They will have four guaranteed games and hopefully will advance to the quarter finals and beyond.
